Connecting farmers to transport options in developing countries.

Problem

Millions of rural farmers in Kenya, and more around the world, had no options for affordable transportation to the livestock market and sale price of their choice. Meanwhile, truckers missed potential customers due to lack of information about people needing transport on their route.

Solution

Moovr recruited truckers and matched them with farmers via an SMS-based app with their route and load capacity, matching the needs of the farmers. Farmers also gave an acceptable price range and paid once they’ve reached their destination.
