Supermarket ice cream flavour profiles lack variety, resulting in a homogenously uninspiring offer. 48% of UK consumers say they want more inspiring ice cream flavours, characterised by higher quality ingredients. Most of the ice cream sold today is dairy based, which has negative planet impact; dairy milk omits 3x more GHG than plant based.
The future of ice cream is dairy free. Combining science, creativity and craft, we make plant-based ice cream that delights the senses by flavour forecasting to invent uniquely delicious scoops as well as memorable and nostalgic moments with sharing. Our vision and values are to maximise our people impact and minimise planet impacts.
Our first customers were trend-hunting vegan influencers. Today, UK plant-based ice cream TAM is £500m, our target market is 30% of UK shoppers who opt for plant based as a better alternative. Our future customers are ice cream lovers who want high-quality ice cream, that tastes just as good as dairy, but, just happens to better for the planet, a global market that will be £2.7b by 2027.
